Cockpit USA (formerly Avirex LTD), the prime and only USAF government contractor for Air Force issue flight jackets now offers the updated current 21st century version of the classic A-2 Air Force pilot's jacket, made out of the same luxurious Mil. Spec. government goatskin as earlier A-2 versions. The Air Force life support division listened to their pilots' requests to modify the 1987 version of the A-2 to accommodate current needs. This jacket now offers a host of new features which do not detract from its authentic appearance but provide the user with modern day conveniences. These include hand warming pockets, underneath flap pockets, inside pockets for personal equipment and a special pen pocket inside to allow pilots access to these articles. I have just received my jacket airman, after 27 days d infringe which adorned me to be reasonable as deadline(extension), it is magnificent, the leather is of high quality, raw materials and qualities of manufacturing sounds irréprochable.le know how to make American n is no legend!!!! Congratulation also has quite l team d Américan Équipage for their professionalism!!! J live in France and the speed of answer to e-mails to advise(recommend) to me on the size is impressive as well as the follow-up of the command(order). Only one(Only) negative thing but it n is not of the responsibility d Américan Équipage c is the price list(rate) of the taxes of customs which seems to me excessive(unfair), for 429.30euros j paid 157.00euros of taxes!!!!!! But to finish one thank you has American Équipage on behalf of a Breton of France!!!!

I have owned this A-2 for 8 months now, and all I can say is, "WOW!" This jacket is awesome! The fit and finish is superior, the leather is like butter, and best of all it's made in the USA. The jacket is very roomy and warm. The hand-warmer pockets are a little small, but it's not a big deal. The best part I think is that I ordered a very large size and it came with one piece construction in the back! No other leather jacket manufacturer that I looked at could do this. The only complaint that I have with the jacket was that it takes a LONG time to get. However, it IS worth the wait. Bear in mind that they make these by hand in the US from US material. Not to mention the fact that they had to kill a small herd of goats to make my size! 8-) I am in no way affiliated with this company, but I have to say, "buy this jacket, you won't regret it."
